Clairfield advises TASS International on its sale to Siemens

TASS International is a global provider of simulation software and engineering and test services aimed primarily at the automotive industry. The company focuses on autonomous driving, integrated safety, advanced driver assistance systems and tire modelling. It was founded in 2004 as a spin-off of Dutch research organisation TNO.

The company was acquired by German conglomerate Siemens, that intends to combine TASS International’s simulation software with its portfolio of advanced simulation offerings. In this transaction Clairfield acted as advisor to the Board of TNO.
