Vesputi GmbH was sold to Tracisis plc
Vesputi, a mobility technology company specialising in digital public transport and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solutions, was sold to Tracisis, a London AIM-listed software provider.
The parties
Vesputi GmbH is a Leipzig-based technology company that develops an API-based platform for the integration and distribution of public transport tickets in third-party applications. The solution, the Mobilitybox platform launched in 2022, standardises complex ticketing infrastructures and enables scalable, software-driven distribution channels, ranging from mobility apps to tourism and platform providers.
Tracsis plc, a London AIM-listed provider of software, data analytics, and ticketing solutions for the rail and mobility sector, is strategically strengthening its smart ticketing portfolio through the acquisition and expanding its position as a provider of digital mobility infrastructure in Germany and Europe. Vesputi will be integrated into the Rail Technology & Services division and will complement the existing digital ticketing solutions.
The outcome
The transaction expands Tracsis’ digital ticketing capability and establishes a small operational foothold in the German public transport market. Vesputi will be integrated into the group’s rail technology and services division alongside Tracsis’ existing digital ticketing capabilities.
